Ever had one of those days where you are just pissy about everything? You are anxious. You are irritated. You are short-fused. You are bothered. That was me yesterday. Not even sure why I felt this way. It's not like bad things were happening. It was just getting up on the wrong side of the bed I guess. It happens. But you can't let it attack you so deeply or let it get to you to where you are venting all these bad feelings on to others. It's tough. But the only way I could get myself to mellow out was to just take a walk. I needed to get away and just do some focused breathing and let my head just mellow out. I had to focus on being super present and in the moment. It was nice just to see the sun setting, to feel the wind on my face, to breath deep, and let go of some of that pent up "whatever". It's really tough to be ON and happy-go-lucky every second of every day. But you need to be able to recognize it when it's happening and how to bring yourself back to some sort of equilibrium. Doesn't mean you will be perfectly happy, but it does mean that you can gain control of your feelings and change how the rest of your day will be for the better. You ALWAYS have the ability to control how you are doing. It might take a bit of work but you will be able to regain that control. And then you can enjoy your day, and others can enjoy theirs as well! :)
