It's been super interesting cleaning up my house getting ready to move. 13 years in one place and I have accumulated a ton of stuff. But what's so crazy is the trip down memory lane. Many of the things I have forgotten on the initial but then I see a picture, a note, a drawing, an award, a nicknack of some kind, and I INSTANTLY remember everything about it. There are so many things that have gone really well and that have gone really bad in my life. But even with that, I don't regret ANY of it. All of the things that happen to us, good things, successes, bad things, and failures, and all the lessons learned from them and HOPEFULLY grew from, have formed to the person we are today. Our experiences and the info we have gained from those experiences are what will carry us into the next situation. There are many things that I wish would have worked out differently but it doesn't mean that I'm not thankful for the experience, even if it was REALLY shitty. Maybe I needed to learn a particular lesson, or I needed to be toughened up for something that might happen to me later. There really is something to gain from EVERY situation. If you ever get the chance to take a walk back through time, do it. We try really hard to move forward in our lives to push past the shitty times and get to better places. This helps us grow. We need to be able to move forward past the bad things. But when you get to look back on them years later, you can learn to appreciate the lessons. And they're there. Don't ignore them. The more we can do that, the stronger and more prepared we will be for the future. Well, I'm on to more boxes of stuff. Enjoy your Labor Day Weekend!! :)
