Sometimes you feel things. You aren't sure where it's coming from, but it's distracting. It's affecting you. You want to feel fine, or happy, or at least feel the normal drive. You still have the normal things you have to do on that day. You still have to work, you still have to be an active part of your family, you still need to work out. You still need to work towards your goal, etc. But this weirdness is draped across your face like some strange veil just slightly coloring everything you are doing. Don't freak out. Is this normal? Well everyone has little dips like this but if you get all caught up in "how weird it is" then you forget about all the things you NEED to be doing. First off, let yourself feel it for a bit. Recognize it. Realize that its there. Then see what the problem is. Are there "what if"s you are working through? Are they "I wish it was.." things? If these are the case then you need to box that in as much as you can. Take a deep breath. Stop the thoughts from just running. Know that everyone WISHES their world was this way or that way and we are all busy working towards something. So put your head back down and get back to work. You aren't repressing your feelings. You know they are there but you are CHOOSING to control the thread, move forward and get back on track. These thoughts are always there. It's a moment of...I don't want to say weakness. It's more of a feeling sorry for yourself. It doesn't do anything for you. Take what you can from it, readjust the path if needed and get going. You don't do yourself any good wallowing in bad feelings about things you wish were. Be grateful for what you have and where you are and drive forward. Take control:)
