"We are what we do regularly", and "Every moment is a chance to change" are statements that seem to be on opposite sides of the playing field. On the one hand, the first statement is saying that we are and who are based on what we do. So if we work hard, if we show integrity, is we show tenacity, if we are kind, etc on a regular basis, then that's who/what we are. Just as if we cheat, we cut corners, we complain, we are jealous, etc, then that is also who/what we are. Almost sounds like we lock ourselves into a particular groove. The second statement says there is no binding lock on you, that you can completely change at ANY time. You just need to do it. If you want to lose weight then start the diet RIGHT NOW, not later. If you want to change your outlook on the situation, you just have to do it right now! The powerful thing is if you put these two statements together, something like....."If you want more, or want to be more, then start doing it now and do it all the time. Then it is YOU!" The fact is that we are creatures of habit and we will do what we always do, but we DO have the power to change that at any time. There isn't a perfect time to wait to make a change. If its something that you want then you need to make the change NOW. The sooner you do, the sooner you can get reps in of that change and make it your normal routine. This goes for EVERYTHING!! Diets, workouts, morning routines, getting to work, how you are when you talk to people, how you stand during the day, you name it! You can change anything but if you don't change it then you will always do it. Take control of YOU and make YOU be the YOU you want!! :)
