Nowadays, social media is filled with "influencers". These are people that are/think they are/act like they are experts in their field. These fields are everything from financial experts, fitness experts, sex experts, mindset experts, self-confidence experts and everything in between. Granted, there are some true experts out there. But believe me, the VAST majority are not. Would you want to take advise from a 20-year old that claims to be a sex and relationship expert? How about a mental coach that is a headcase, or a "therapist" that hasn't had a solid relationship ever? I would venture to say probably not. So then why listen to all the "pros" out there? It's very easy to scroll on all the channels and hear some good things. There will be some good info, but is it anything new and inventive? Probably not. It's probably pretty obvious. You have to remember that just because you read it on on IG or Facebook that doesn't mean it isn't the end-all-be-all of information. Take the info you can use. Look into the info you plan on following. Do research. Don't just blindly follow someone because they have a bunch of followers. If they are legit, then, by all means, use them to enhance your world. But please be smart about those that you follow or listen to or follow advice. :)
