There are times when we do something, an event, a competition, we create something, we make something, etc.  It might be really cool or it might be very average but we have a tendency to knock it down and kick sand in its face before we actually get to understand what we really did.  If its a competition of some sort, there will ALWAYS be a winner and a bunch of people that didn't win (yes these are called losers, even though it's not meant to be a derogatory word).  So with so many out there that didn't win, we need to NOT knock ourselves down about it.  If you are upset that you didn't go faster, then why didn't you go faster??  If you thought you could have lifted more, then you should have.  But in reality, no one really cares all that much how you did to try to cut you down about it.  So be happy with what you got or at least learn what you need to do for next time!  If its a creation, well then it's something that comes from you.  There will be some people that it resonates with and some that it won't.  This doesn't mean it isn't awesome.  It just means that some liked it and some didn't.  This doesn't take away from how awesome it is.  And in both cases, what is even better is that YOU put it out there, you put yourself out there.  This gives you strength and power.  It gives you self-confidence.  It gives you self-love.  It gives you self-pride.  Don't ever hide away from putting yourself out there.  No, it might not be perfect but so what!  The point is to get better every time and feel better every time.  So stand up and be proud!  :)
