So much time.  So much energy.  So much thought.  So much anxiety.  So many bad dreams.  So many daydreams.  So many obstacles.  So many good days.  So many bad days.  All for one particular thing.  Maybe it's the CrossFit Open.  Maybe it's a lifting competition.  Maybe its an interview for a job, etc.  We all want to have it work out the way we want it.  But what if it doesn't?  Was it still worth it?  It won't feel like its worth it the second it doesn't happen.  But when you get a break from it, sit in a room all by yourself and honestly think about the whole thing.  Were there any elements of the journey that you really loved?  Hopefully, the answer is yes!  You should have liked to do the training, the studying, the preparing, the faltering and all the little wins in between.  This is the journey.  To achieve anything, there is a path that you must go down.  And to really have any shot at achieving the goal you need to be all in.  "All in" means that you don't just enjoy the end result, but the ENTIRE THING.  When you can enjoy all of it, then you don't feel like you are wasting your time.  You won't be "burned out" because it's what you want to do anyway and you won't feel like you are missing out on anything.  So if you didn't get the end result and you had the chance to do it all over again, would you?  If the answer is no, then get out of it now.  You won't last long in it.  But if the answer is yes then, chart your journey for the next round and hit it up with a smile on your face!:)
