The relationship between an athlete/member and a coach/trainer is a unique one. The coach/trainer will try to give the best workout to the athlete/member based on all the variables they have going on. They may have to deal with injuries, modifications, adjustments, mental things, etc to make the program for the day work for the athlete/member. Sure this tkes time and it takes work but this is what their job is. Generally speaking, they will do everything they can to make the day work good for you. Hwever this is a two-way street. The coach/trainer NEEDS to have information so that they can give you the best choice of actionfo the day. If they dont know EXACTLY what happened, when it happned, what you have been doing since the injury or incident, what other medical or other professionals have been telling you, then we have VERY little to go off of. The answer to an injury isnt always just not to use it. There are a miriad of ways we can scale or modify the workout of the day to take care of you. But we cant just accept you telling us whatyou will do instead. We are the professionals of our careers. Our job is to help you. But we need all the info. From the information, we can give a variety of options which may help to make the situation much better. Please understand we do no get upset to have to work with you and yor issues. However, it gets very tough to have someone tell us what they think they should do. This is a team effort. And for you to get the most out of your workout, we need to be part of that.
