It's the last workout of the year. This last little bit of 2018 is hanging on you as you slide into the gym like that snake trying to lose that old skin as it makes its way through the rocky outcropping. I'm not a fan of waiting until New Year's to make a change. If it's something that's important to you, it seems like the time to do it is now. But what I DO like about New Years times, is to reflect on how the last year was. There will obviously be some good things and some bad things and depending on how you view it, ALL of it should be a learning experience. There will be plenty of things to make you say "ok don't do it that way again", or "that didn't work but I KNOW I'm going the right direction so get up and keep going", or "I fell flat on my face but I'm going to try it this way this time". It doesn't matter how many times to fell face first. It doesn't matter how many times you messed up. It doesn't matter how bad it got. As long as you are able to get back up and keep moving forward, advancing, improving, learning, adapting, then you WILL be better off this year. Don't blame anything that happened on anyone else. Accept it and take responsibility for it. Don't let yourself get stuck on the rut of "oh poor me". Just keep your head up and keep moving forward. So as you are stepping up and down on that box, visualize all the great things you are going to do this year! Be excited! Because it IS exciting to see what will happen!! HAPPY NEW YEARS to all of you! Thank you for being with us this year and I can't wait for the next year and all of you being part of it!!:)
