Downward spirals suck. We have all been there. You are going along in your world thinking and everything is great and then you hit a bump, stumble, then hit another roadblock, and stumble again. You are confused that its happening at first. Then you get angry. Then soon you are accepting that THIS is the way it is. And then another messed up thing happens, then another, then another and soon you find yourself at the bottom of this seemingly bottomless pit of crap. Well, lets hit the brakes for a second. Sure there will always be some unplanned things that happen. Do your best not to get completed smashed by them mentally. Be able to adapt and adjust as needed WITHOUT letting yourself get all emotionally flipped out. When you lose control of your emotions then you are on the fast track down the spiral. And the more you waste time on feeling bad about the things that are happening, the less time you put to actually adjusting and making things happen so you can fix things. We have said that POSITIVE BEGETS POSITIVE. Well, the same thing happens for negative thoughts and feelings. NEGATIVE BEGETS NEGATIVE and the more negative you are, the more negative things are going to happen. Remember that these "bad" things that happen are single individual incidents. Don't get caught thinking its a string of bad luck. Do what you need to do to handle the first one, then move to the next then to the next. Keep your head up. Keep positive. The pendulum WILL swing back in your direction but you need to allow it happen! Turn your situation into an UPWARD spiral!! MAKE IT HAPPEN!!! :)
