We are right around the corner from this years Games competition and people are getting excited.  And after all the training the athletes have done, there will be a wonder from each of them of whether or not they "did enough", "worked hard enough", or "truly worked on their weaknesses".  And once this happens then excuses will start flowing out.  One of the things I hate more than anything is when an athlete feels that they need to give a reason why they "might not" do well.  It's so damn annoying! As far as I'm concerned it's just them trying to save face before anything even happens! So dumb!!  Just accept that you will do the best you can do and that's all you or anyone else can expect.  No one will hate you if you don't win.  There will only be one winner in each division anyways, and with 420 individual athletes and another 300 team athletes, there are only 26 first place winners. Yes we all want to win, but most don't. So instead of making excuses, or worrying what your Instagram followers will think of you, just go and give it your all. It truly is all you can do:)
