When we visualize us doing something great, it's usually under "perfect" conditions and everything that happens is perfect!  Guess what, nothing is EVER perfect so don't worry about making the perfect scenario in your head.  In fact, if when you are actually executing whatever it is, be ready for something to not go as planned.  I'm not saying to have a negative outlook on what will happen.  I'm saying be prepared for anything.  This will require you to have thought about what might happen.  Again, this isn't about doom and gloom.  This is about having a plan B, C, D or whatever planned so you can quickly and without emotion, make the switch.  Remember that winning doesn't mean it was perfect.  It just means you happened to be better than the others in that particular thing.  Don't worry about the others.  Worry ONLY about you and what YOU need to do for YOU while you are doing it.  If you find yorself going into an event or a task and you arent 100%, does it mean you wont be able to do well?  Well it depends what your expaectations are.  This is why expectations other than to go out and crush your task the VERY best you can, are a waste of time and energy.  You will be worrying about others and othert things that are out of your control.  Just get in there and do your thing, really hard!  Now go wreck it!!:)
