What makes a workout harder?  Sure sometimes HEAVY is very hard, but the down side to a HEAVY workout is that you will just not be able to move the eight sometimes so you have no choice but to sit there and rest.  LONGER? Sure long workouts suck too.  But because you eventually burn out, your speed slows down, which basically means that your INTENSITY drops.  Some of the WORST workouts in Crossfit are relatively light weight and allow you to move back and forth between the movements quickly.  Its not heavy so you have no reason to go slow, the movements arent complicated so you dont have to "set up", and the transpositions and time frames are fast so there isnt any reason to sit there trying to catch your breath.  (Yes this is how i see todays workout).  But i did hear that some thought yesterdays workout was "easy".  If it was, then i would have suggested that you go faster on your movements.  The object wasnt to take all 3 minutes to do the workout but to see how fast you could get it done and then recover and hit the workout at full speed again......for 10 rounds.  If they sucked, then congrats:)  if they didnt then be sure to ask your trainer how to make the workout more effective for you.  Have fun today:)
