One of the parts of Coach Glassman's World Class Fitness in 100 words is "practice new sports".  How often have you done this?  I know that for many of you, trying out Crossfit and the Inferno was a tough and new sport to try.  But then there are those competitors out there that seem to do nothing but Crossfit or train the "pieces" of Crossfit.  Ill admit that i am one of those people.  Since opening the gym, i have been 100% into the INFERNO and Crossfit.  There is growing the business, trying to become the best coach i can, trying to be the best manager of our employees, training others to compete, training myself to compete, programming for the gyms, commentating for the Games and other fitness events.........yet i used to be a very active waterman.  Id surf regularly, i would go to climbing gyms, i would go cycling, i would triathlons, and more.  im not saying that i dont love what i do because i love it so much that i gave up a fire career to do it.  BUT, just as i say to other coaches of other sports, the more well rounded the athlete is, the BETTER the athlete will be.  So as im talking to you....im talking to myself.....remember to do different active things out there.  Get back in the water, get out in nature, do other full active things, try something new.  Use the fitness you have built.  Its not just for working out, but for living big:) FEEL THE BURN!!!
