Movement is the key to life.  Have you ever noticed that if you sit in a car ride for a long time you feel stiff.  Yes.  How about if you have a broken arm and then you get the cast off.  Does your arm want to move? No.  I''m sitting in a Controlled Passive Movement machine that has been moving my leg since the day of my surgery, all so that my joint doesn't lock up with scar tissue and sticky muscle fibers.  Even as i have gotten older, i have noticed that even though i may be sore when im working out regularly, i feel LOCKED up if i take time off.  The point here is that our bodies are designed to move: to lift, to jump, to run, to climb, to bend, to crouch, everything.  We NEED to be respectful of that.  We really shouldnt even have the option of not moving.  Now when i say this, i mean to move in the full range of motion that we have.  If someone is a paraplegic, then they have things they need to work around but there are still parts that can and need to move.  Its an ingrained thing.  Its an independent thing.  Its an important thing.  Its a health and wellness thing.  Its our thing!  Go do your thing!
