Everyone wants to be healthy.  Nobody wants to be sick or have to be on medication or not be able to move the way they once did.  They want to live long functional lives being able to do all the things they enjoy.  How amazing would it be to live to be over 100 years old and be able to be as active as you were when you were in your 40's!  We have the ability to do this!  We have the ability to have this exact life and enjoy it until long past what we usually think.  It comes down to one thing......you deciding to make it happen.  Is not an easy road.  You will have to not eat certain things.  You will have to workout a certain way. You will have to truly take care of yourself.  Is a "cheat day" worth 2 more days of healthy living?  Is a night of heavy drinking worth 1 day of healthy living?  Is that donut or that Oreo really worth it?  Now I'm not saying that 1 cookie will take a week off your life.  But I really haven't seen many people eat just one cookie and be good with it.  You have to remember that its a cumulative effect on your body.  If you allow these things in your body, then your body will present a certain way. Period.  Next time you try to justify why its ok to eat this or that, or not get the sleep you need, or not do your workout, think about what has been added up to this point.  Is it really worth it?

On Ramp Class is held up at the Northern Inferno tonight, Tuesday and Wednesday at 8pm.  We will have the SLO Inferno On Ramp this Thursday, and Friday at 730pm and Saturday morning at 1045am.  We want to make it more accessible to all of our members!!  Its going to make you better!!!

Tabata Floor Press

     *with 60% of your 1RM weight do 8 rounds of 20 seconds AMRAP and 10 seconds rest.  Score is total number




10 min AMRAP:

     8 reps Dumbbell Hang Power Clean and Jerk (50#, 35#)

          *more advanced folks use Kettle Bells

     1 rep Rope Climb (15', or 8 strict pull-ups)

     8 reps Box Jumps (36", 30")
