CrossFit is so great because it is the great equalizer in the fitness world.  The Regionals are in their second weekend and we are seeing some of the best crossfitters out there killing these workouts.  We have badasses like 5'4", 155# Chris Spealler and 5'11, 215# Matt Chan from the Southwest Region.  Chris wins "Diane" (21-15-9 of 225# Deadlifts and Burpees) and places 13th in WOD2 (2k Row, 50 Pistols and 30 reps of 225# Hang Power Cleans).  Matt is 15th in Diane and 1st in WOD2.  Sure there may be a workout that is more suited for one than the other, but the object is to see who is the best well rounded athlete.  This is the ONLY arena where you can have athletes of all sizes, all abilities competing together.  Its not a big guys or little guy sport!  Its an everyone sport!  Heres are the tasks, lets see who can do the most work fastest!  Now go get it!!!!  I love this Sh#@T!!!!!

Inferno Warm-up X3

Complete the Following:


5 Rounds:

     5 reps Power Cleans (185#, 125#)

     5 reps Front Squats (185#, 125)

     5 reps Push Jerks (185#, 125#)

     5 Muscle ups (Sub with Hip to Bar Pull-ups)

          *Rest 1 minute between rounds




Split Tabata PIstols and Toes to Bar:

     *8 rounds of 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off except the odd number rounds are the pistols and the even rounds are Toes to Bar.  Score the number of Pistols and the number of Toes to Bar.


MWOD.......some insane work on the high hammys and an even better jerk!!
