One of the best feelings in CrossFit is to get a PR (personal record) on any workout or activity. The weird thing is that it doesnt always happen when you think it would. When we train, we are training for general fitness. So, we are actually improving more than one thing at a time. Its not JUST to get stronger, or JUST to get faster, although these things might all happen at the same time. When you do the same workout day after day, you do make gains initially due to learning some little efficiency improvers. But once you do, you will plateau and then you will get bored or frustrated with it Our training forces different movements and time frames so that you are changing it up on your systems. This forces change in all directions. So when you finally come back to one of those benchmark workouts 3-6 months later, you actually get to see a change. And usually its in the improvement direction. Five years of doing Crossfit, almost 43 years old and I just blasted my PR on Fight Gone Bad yesterday........I love it!!!!!! and we see this from our members EVERYDAY in the INFERNO!!!
