Even though some people don't like the idea of competing when they come to the gym, no matter how you look at it, you WILL always do more work when others are around you and doing the same thing. Its just human nature to not want to do bad when others are watching. So what does this do? It ramps up your intensity, and you get a better workout than if you would if you were by yourself. There are others who like the challenge of competition whether its in the gym with the other members or its testing bigger waters in other competitions. Mary Ann Scharf has jumped into the competition realm in a crazy way!! So crazy that she is actually involved in 4 or 5 events between now and February! And she qualified for the VERY tough OC Throwdown!!!!! This event has grown huge over the last couple years and draws some of the best competitors. Here athletes must qualify to even go to it!! This event will be held this weekend down in Orange County. Heres the link: OC THROWDOWN. One of the best feelings is having your tribe, your box, your people cheering you one when you are wrecking yourself at these events! How about we gather some peeps to go root her on as she represents the INFERNO in one of the most competitive events outside of Regionals? Throw your name on the board at the gym if you want to go!!!

Paleo pictures are up at the gym!!!!! You have 1 week to vote on the pictures. the way to do it is sign your name on the sign up sheet and then put a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the top 3 people you think shows the biggest change in the pictures. After the week, I will tally up the results and come up with the top 5. Josh and I will then pick the top 3 and present the awards of 1st: $375, 2nd: $275, and 3rd: $175!!!
