Please join me in congratulating our resident love birds, Josh Lorenzo and Denise Kudlac.  They are expecting!!!!!  That's right!  There will be a stork stopping by the gym with a little bundle of joy!!!  Please give them your good wishes and when Denise is beating you in the WOD, just know that a beautiful pregnant woman is beating your ass!!!  Congrats guys!!!

Many people feel that when hit a certain age, its time to slow down.  They give themselves excuses for doing or not doing certain things.  Why?  For thousands of years, people have searched for the Fountain of Youth.  Is there really a place that has some special water to drink that makes you young?  Is it a pill?  Is it a mindset?  I feel that age is just a number.  You are done when you tell yourself you are done.  If you feel that you can do this activity or that activity, then you still can.  For everyone that says "but I'm too old", I'm telling you "no your not"!  There are of course some of those foundationary type things like proper nutrition, and constantly varied functional movements done at high intensity.  But if you don't have the belief that you can still do what you want, then you will always be limited.  Believe that age is just a number and it is.  Because that's all it is! Life your life!!!  Don't let that fire of youth die in you!!
