The general public at large really does try to do the right thing when it comes to nutrition.  Sure there are those out there that just want to eat "junk" food all the time and refuse to do any activity.  Cant really help those people.  But for all the others out there that are trying to lose weight, trying to improve their health and want to lead a better, healthier life for their sport, their job, their family or themselves.......they need to make sure they are getting the right information.  Nutrition is pushed on you each and everyday by the tv commercials, the doctors, the institutions etc.  But is it correct information?  For example, why would our government tell us to eat 8-12 serving of bread, grain and wheat a day if we aren't even made to eat it??  Why would they tell us that we need to have low-fat and non-fat this or that when they know that it is EXTREMELY important to get Omega 3 and some Omega 6 fats in our diet. In fact, eating these good fats will actually help some of us to lose weight?  The only thing I can think is that it is a money game, and we are all the pieces in the game.  If you look behind the scenes a little bit you will see the lobbying that goes on between many of the food companies and farms, the health organization like FDA, USDA and American Heart Association, and then also the pharmaceutical companies.  So, if certain people want you to eat certain foods and those certain foods make your body react a certain way and then there are certain drugs to help battle those reactions from the seems very possible they could be partnering up with each other and making some money hmmmmm???  The easiest way to battle this and get yourself out of the game is to 1) do your research and see whats really going on, 2) eat the right foods that will not work against your body, and 3) hopefully not have to deal doctors or pharmaceuticals.  Sound good??  I think so!!!
