The final scores are being posted and the last week of the Sectional Open is beginning.  It seems like this competition has been going on forever and as fun as it has been to get so many people hitting these wods hard each week, it will be nice to get back on a normal training regimen again.  I have noticed a couple things during this event: 1) it seems that many have done weights, movements or workouts that would have normally scaled if it wasn't a Sectional Event.  Now I understand that we talk about scaling for the purpose of full range of movement and to get the desired result of the workout.  However this does NOT mean that you shouldn't push yourself or your weight!  I want people to push the limits as often as they can in here.  Don't be afraid to fail.  There is no fail in the gym.  You might miss a rep but you don't ever FAIL as long as you are trying.  2)  Being that this is a competition, you need to look at the WODs differently.  Games them if you need to, figure out how you can maximize the number of reps in them, and most of all do the most work possible!  However if you are not used to pushing the limit normally then you will not be ready to when an event like this shows up.  You can only go as hard as you have been training.  You may be able to eek a tiny bit more out but more than likely you will crash.  So if you want to be able to push hard in events like this, you need to really push that envelop when you are doing your daily training .  Don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying that everyday is the Crossfit Games Finals, but I'm saying that you need to be ready for it before you can do it!!!  ONE WEEK LEFT!!!!!
