So whats the best way to prepare yourself for a competition that last 6 weeks long?  Well the first thing is do not try to save yourself for each workout as they come up.  Now do you want to crush yourself the day before you are going to hit it?  No.  But you need to keep working out as you normally would.  If you ease up or miss days then you will be much to tapered for upcoming events.  Also, if there is going to be a few days before you do the WOD, you should practice the movements but don't spend all your time on it.  You need to remember the big picture which is to make sure you are ready for all 6 events over the 6 weeks.  Keep doing our workouts.  Keep your mind in the right place.  Remember we all have weaknesses so don't get discouraged when yours is called up.  And if you don't seem to do as well as you want on a particular wod, don't get down.  6 weeks is a long time.  Stay positive and have fun with this event!  You are part of the largest Fitness Event even assembled!!!!
