There is a huge push to go to the minimalistic shoe right now by MANY of the shoe companies out there.  That is a good thing.  One problem though, if you run wrong and don't work to change it, it wont matter what shoes you are wearing.  You will do damage to your body.  Some will say the Vibrams are a fad.  Some will say we are moving back to the Chuck Taylors.  Some will say that the Nike Free is the best shoe out there.  There may be a little bit of truth to all of these but one thing is true.....if you run POSE, then all of these will work.  POSE running is the art of running my using gravity to your advantage.  It is a controlled fall.  If you run "heel-toe" then you are in essence STOPPING yourself with each and every step and then having to push up over your leg to get going again.  If you have a slight forward lean with your body and you pull your feet straight up underneath you then you will be able to fall forward and move forward.  Check out the site below.  It is Dr Romanov's site.  He is the creator of the POSE METHOD!!!
